Do you already have language skills?

Boise State University grants CREDIT FOR PRIOR LEARNING if you can demonstrate those skills.

Here is a general overview on how to do so. Be sure to consult with your Academic Advisor.

►You must be enrolled at Boise State University to apply for Credit for Prior Learning.

►You must be enrolled at Boise State University for the semester in which the credit is granted.

►You must complete 12 credits at Boise State University before the credit will be recorded.

►Students may NOT challenge a course to improve a previous grade or replace a grade of PASS.

► Up to 8 credits earned will count toward the Area I Core requirement.

If your skills are in a language not taught at Boise State, please consult the list of language exams available through Brigham Young University and New York University.
