Language Resource Center State-of-the-art, interactive lab equipment is available to assist students in their language studies. Most 100- and 200- level language courses require lab participation such as video and computer activities in the Language Resource Center, for which students pay an additional laboratory fee. Computer resources include word processing and internet search capability.

Credit for Prior Learning: Once a student enrolls in and successfully completes a language course beyond the 101 level with a grade of ”C” or higher, he or she may petition to receive credit for all courses prerequisite to the level successfully completed.  For example, a student who successfully completes ARABIC 102 may receive credit for ARABIC 101. For those with native language proficiency, please see how to obtain credit for your language experience through the detailed explanation of Challenge Exams and Credit for Prior Learning.
