From the German Embassy about “do Deutsch”:
| The do Deutsch campaign aims to raise awareness among students and their parents, teachers of German and political decision makers as well as the media of the value of language learning. Languages open up opportunities. Practically each of the 350 million Europeans knows at least one foreign language, people in most parts of the world, particularly in China or other emerging powers, are very eager about learning languages because they know it’s a key skill for their future. |
