German Section Head

  • Schedule all German Courses and Coordinate Conversation Labs and Tutoring.
  • Recruit, Interview, Supervise, and Support Adjunct Faculty. Select Textbooks for all German classes and coordinate the development of common Course Policies.
  • Selection of all German Videos, Computer Software, and Books to be ordered by the Modern Languages Resource Center and the Albertsons Library.
  • Program Building and Public Relations Work.
  • Liaison to area High School Teachers and German Communities.
  • Complete Revision of the German Curriculum. All curriculum changes were implemented in Fall, 1998.
  • Faculty Advisor for all German Majors and Minors.
  • Coordinator of the Exchange Program with Saarbrücken, Germany.
  • Member of the Gender Studies Advisory Board
  • Member of numerous Committees at the Department, College and University level.
